Day 1 - A word from Rod
We are thrilled to announce that The Giving Exchange is celebrating our 10-year anniversary! On June 3, 2013, we were formally recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity, and since then, we've impacted over 65,000 lives through more than 70 unique, self-sustaining projects in under-resourced communities around the world.
To kick things off, we have a special video message from our founder, Rod:
We've built an incredible community of partners, beneficiaries, volunteers, and supporters who want to make lasting change.
To celebrate this milestone, we're hosting a 10-day digital campaign to raise funds and awareness for our work. Our goal is $10,000 in the next 10 days. This will commemorate the incredible decade of impact we have achieved.
Each day, we'll spotlight a project or individual from each of our beneficiary categories - children, women, and community - and share stories of the lives that our work has transformed.
We hope you will join us in celebrating this important milestone and consider donating to support our work. Your donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference and help us continue to create positive change in East Africa.
We appreciate your ongoing support and are grateful for everything that you have helped us achieve over the past 10 years.
AND…mark your calendars!
Once we reach our $30,000 fundraising goal during our 10-day digital campaign, we'll be hosting a live-streamed virtual event to celebrate and thank all of you who have helped us get there. We call it our "Toast to TGE" and we promise it'll be a blast!
The agenda for this 10-minute "Toast to TGE" includes:

This 10-minute event will be held not once but TWICE to accommodate different time zones, so you can join whichever works better for you. Here are the details:

The event will also be streamed to Facebook Live and YouTube Live - simply visit either of our pages at the designated times (follow us and turn on notifications to be sure not to miss it!).
